About Us
Save Washington Pets is the name of the campaign to pass companion animal spay/neuter assistance legislation in Washington State. It is a trade name of the Washington Alliance for Humane Legislation, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the passage and effective implementation of humane animal welfare laws, regulations, and policies in Washington State and to educate the public about animal welfare issues.
Rick Hall, Andrea Logan, and Kay Joubert are working as volunteers to help coordinate efforts to pass this legislation through Save Washington Pets. This work is being closely coordinated with the Washington State Federation of Animal Care and Control Agencies' legislative committee and many other people and organizations that are committed to improving animal welfare in Washington State.
Andrea is the president of the nonprofit organization Pawsitive Alliance and a director of the nonprofit organizations Washington Alliance for Humane Legislation and the Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Project.
Kay is a director of the nonprofit organizations Washington State Federation of Animal Care and Control Agencies and Washington Alliance for Humane Legislation, and is also the director of companion animal services for PAWS in Lynnwood.
Rick is a director of Washington Alliance for Humane Legislation and a member of the advisory boards for Pawsitive Alliance and the Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Project.
