The following videos help explain the critical need for spay/neuter assistance legislation in Washington State.
The first five videos were produced locally by Elliot Weiner, president of Protect Adoptable Labs, in cooperation with the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County and Coalition Humane. Video five is a compilation of key points drawn from the first four videos and presents a valuable overview of the crisis of animal population in our state.
Video six reviews the effectiveness of the New Hampshire state spay/neuter program and reviews key elements of the proposed Washington State spay/neuter program in SB 5329/HB 1406. This video was produced by Peter Marsh in cooperation with Bill Millios of Back Lot Films, Inc. Mr. Marsh is a New Hampshire attorney and nationally recognized authority on companion animal spay/neuter program design, implementation, and evaluation. He led efforts to pass groundbreaking statewide spay/neuter assistance legislation for the state of New Hampshire.
